How To Maintain Your First Real Mature Relationship

1.Don’t Forget the Friendships!
Often, your partner fills up the time you initially used to allot to friends and family.  People in relationships often tend to restrict their availability to exiting circles. 2.Avoid Overdependence on Each Other
Many people get dependent on their partners for all their needs; their social life starts revolving around them, their weekends comprise only of their partners and themselves, and their only friend becomes their him/her – this actually becomes a dangerous level of intimacy and results in both partners becoming overly dependent on each other. 3.You and Your Partner Need Time Sans One Another
Time spent alone is only as valid as your other needs. Many people benefit by engaging in activities they love to do by themselves, or with their buddies, away from their partners! Even though the relationship means a lot to you, engaging in a little bit of self-care is equally important.

4.Keep the Balance
Spending a healthy amount of couple time is essentially about finding a balance in which both partners are happy with the time they spend together, are maintaining hearty friendships and family relationships are progressing towards their professional goals, and giving the relationship a chance to flourish.  Needless to say, that’s a lot to getting balance right!
