But of course, I know nothing about the intricacies marriage, the specifics of t breakup, or if the baby has anything to do with the split. And while I wish tall those who break up the best and will most likely be following their separate journeys, I can't help but think — is there any correlation to breaking up after baby? With my friends marriage to be tested with the addition of a fourth baby within six years in two months, I admit I’m a little more than nervous about the added stress on their relationship. According to the <a href="http://www.gottman.com/">Relationship Research Institute in Seattle</a>, within three years of the birth of a child, approximately two-thirds of couples find that the quality of their relationship declines and within five years of the birth of a first child, 13 percent of marriages end in divorce for couples who were married at the time of the child’s birth. The five-year dissolution rate rises to 39 percent for couples who were living together at the time of the first child’s birth. According to the <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhsr/nhsr049.pdf">CDC’s statistics through 2010</a>, your marriage has a higher probability rate of surviving 10 years of marriage if you wait until at least eight months into your marriage to have a baby. While the survival rate for couples who have children before marriage or within the first seven months of wedded bliss hovers at about .55, that number jumps up to .85 for couples whose bundles of joy arrive after eight months. How can a couple tell if their marriage is in trouble because of their relationship or if it’s “just” the stress of a new baby? When a baby comes into a couple’s life, extra stress and strain is understandable. In a healthy relationship, the couple tends to pull together and is aware that any tension and discord are a result of adding new responsibilities and demands. In general, when it is “just” new baby stress, the situation tends to improve dramatically when the couple is able to get more sleep and spend time together that restores a sense of loving marital closeness. Signs of deep relationship trouble are indicated by more dramatic and lasting shifts in behaviors. Such warning signs include constant fighting and avoidance of home life (e.g., not coming home, keeping late hours, refusal of co-parenting duties, substance abuse, etc.). How would you advise a couple with a young baby who is considering divorce? Even the healthiest of new marriages can be strained by the addition of a new baby. If a couple begins to consider divorce during a baby’s infancy, I recommend seeking outside support promptly. Even the most well-prepared new parents simply can’t predict in advance the dramatic shifts in demands, changes, and pressures that come along with the little one’s arrival. When the road gets too bumpy for the couple to handle with their regular coping skills, outside resources can be tremendously beneficial. Whether the couple turns to a marriage therapist, pastor, or support group, seeking support during this intense period of transition can help a couple avoid the devastation of divorce. What are some tips for parents-to-be on sustaining a marriage through the life changes of a baby? Commit to date night. Well in advance of the baby’s arrival, commit to keeping couple time at a premium by scheduling regular time alone (date nights, exercising together, etc.). Couples need to make their marriage a priority, especially when the baby arrives. Book a sitter. Obtain recommendations for babysitters and screen the possibilities well before baby’s arrival. This way, you and your sweetheart can have a few much-needed hours to catch up on sleep, enjoy a bit of self-care, run errands, or spend precious time together. Many couples rely upon in-laws or other family members to step in, but it’s always wise to have a back-up plan. A good babysitter can give the new parents just the break they need to keep the marriage alive and well! Successful partnerships succeed when collaboration, mutual respect, and thoughtful appreciation are priorities. By choosing to bypass the smaller issues (such as that extra pile of dirty laundry or a missed golf game with buddies), the long term goals of the relationship tend to stay front and center. Find support. It’s always a good idea to have a regular source of support during any major life transition. Whether having a regular meeting time with friends, parent-to-be support group, therapist, or other trusted mentor, having a place to download and share is worth its weight in gold!</div>

It turns out that most every man was in total agreement and there are three reasons why women don’t get asked out on a another date. So I wanted to touch on the top one with you today to see if you can relate—to wee if, in fact, you have made this number on mistake before (I know u have!) and give your hot little self something to think about in your relations to men. The number one reason women don’t get asked out on a second date is: Because they’re too bossy and they override suggestions. Now, i asked some ladies and they didn’t go into the reasons why these men said that being too bossy and overriding suggestions turns them off to the point of not wanting another date. But I’ve been thinking—and I have some advice from not just my own dating life, but from my years of relationships up and downs and forums that has given me amazing insight on understanding men from both perspectives. He’s picking you up at eight, and he’s taking you to this great little Italian restaurant that he’s been to before and just knows you’re going to love. But when he calls to confirm, you tell him that you don’t want him to pick you up, you’d rather meet him at the restaurant and that you really aren’t in the mood for Italian…you’d rather have African. Without knowing it, you’ve essentially offended his ability to provide for you, take care of your needs, and do something special for you. You’ve offended his masculine energy, the very energy that wants to succeed, wants to win you over, and wants to impress you, too. Your date has taken special care to think of and plan something special for you and instead of welcoming his gifts of thoughtful planning and consideration, you shoot down his thoughtful idea, taking with it his pride and manly ability to provide for you. Get it? I see women do this all time and don’t even realize it!   You “tell”  men what to do—even when you think what u’re saying is just a “suggestion.” You must remember that men wear different ears than women—they actually have different brains in their head, different ways of seeing and feeling and acting and thinking. The list goes on and on and on. So, when a man makes a plan, stick to it! He’s operating from the very core of his being, from a place that is wildly passionate about providing, finding solutions and taking care of the most important people in his life. Does this kind of marriage work for some people? Does it make them happy, better human beings? The comment reminded me of an article that had gone round the interwebs earlier this year. Read and let's discuss... 1. Most Men cannot have s3x exclusively with just one woman, for the rest of their lives. 2. Men are created with varied s3xual appetite ,some men can do without s3x for a year, others cannot do without s3x for a week. 3. She and your hubby just have a sexual understanding or partnership which helps both deal with peculiar individual issues. 10. As a woman, if you go all out in a bid to catch your husband red-handed cheating, you WILL succeed. Then what next? If u listen hard to your domestic servants in their private discussions, u will certainly hear them insult you, so why listen? 11. Judge your man by his responsibilities towards you and the kids, and NOT by who he's giving 'doggie style' to him in the office. Now, let me say that I know this is the reality for some women, and maybe the way they cope with the situation is by accepting it as the norm. In fact, some people will argue all day, supporting this write-up as true and realistic, but my question is, Who are we deceiving? How is this something to aspire to? Should we not try to do away with stuffs that are detrimental to us? Infidelity is bad. Promiscuity, which is what this write-up is basically condoning, is reprehensible. While consensual polygamy or serial monogamy might work, a relationship where infidelity or promiscuity is taken for granted is not a desirable one. No matter how much you think you can suppress your emotional side, any kind of betrayal hurts, and especially when it is from a man/woman you have decided to partner with for the rest of your life!  A lot of women do learn to live with cheating men, but may be sad and unproductive in other ways, some will transfer their aggression to the other woman, or their colleagues and subordinates, or worse, on their children. My question is, if you find yourself in this scenario, why not face the genesis of your problems? The cheating and randy man? Do not swallow it, for it may kill you slowly emotionally if not physically. Before I round up, I have to point to the blatant fallacy in #7 - faithful husbands are wife beaters? What utter tosh! Quote me anywhere jare. Infidelity has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with men who are violent or not. One may even argue that since vices go together, an unfaithful man is more likely to be violent, including beating up their wives and children. But let's not conflate issues. Any man that wants to learn new s3xual stuff to please his wife, and the 'woman' he still supposedly loves, should read relevant books and well made instructional videos. If possible, watch it with the same woman. I think men who are promiscuous, and who think they can only release pressure through s3x with a prost1tute or mistress, are disrespectful, not just of women generally, but also themselves.  The bottom-line is that there are various ways to decompress both for men and women. Hit the gym, take up golf, or football, or your favorite sport, go back to your childhood talents and passions - writing, drawing, painting, knitting, tinkering with electronics, etc.  Also do things as a couple - stay indoors and gist, have s3x together regularly or as often as you can, go to the club and dance off your energy, go to plays and the movies, poetry and book readings, art showings, owambe parties and so on. Try to remember the early days or dating or courtship and recreate some of what you did. :) Rekindle your love and don't go looking for it when it's right there in your house.

We all know that it is the moneyed types who may be politicians, businessmen, successful musicians and, above all, rich thugs. In fact, there is a common saying in some male circles that an ape in a Hugo Boss suit driving the latest posh car stands a better chance to have a beauty queen walk next to its heart. To see a beautiful woman, impeccable in dress, well connected in social circles and to imagine her dating a simple and ordinary Joe Average has become, increasingly, a rare sight. It is as if, truly, all the beautiful Mzansi angels who walk the earth have been put on this world to enjoy the best that life has to offer. And, of course, that can only be offered by men who have money and all that it can buy. Not too long ago, during the Easter Holidays spending spree, I watched young men and women as they emerged from movie houses, cocktail bars and restaurants at malls. Their faces were beaming with smiles of joy because they understood that love has become synonymous with money and what it can buy. Yet in the same country, I have hearkened to the cries of men whose relationships were strained and their hearts broken because there was not enough money to buy love through a candle lit dinner, a gift or red roses for the beloved. Of course, the women are responding to the market driven image and definition of love as we have never known it to be: no romance without finance. As a result, there is a look of arrogance on the faces of some men who have ‘made it,’ a callousness that may elicit disgust or disappointment on the part of women who claim to love men for who they are and not what they have. Good topic: Kids or family. So, tell your date what turns you on! 4. Bad topic: S3x. It's just in bad taste to start talking about s3x on a first date. It just is. Good topic: Love. You might disagree with me, but I think it's okay to talk about love and relationships, and what you think makes a good one. Get it on the table! Tell your date what you want and don't want. I'm not saying to tell your date you want to be married within the year, but saying, "I'm really looking to fall in love," or "I would like to be married again someday," aren't forbidden. In it Kaleb and Kordale are getting their daughters ready for school, the caption read: Being fathers is getting our daughters up at 5:30 am making breakfast getting them dressed for school and putting them on the us by 6:30 .This is a typical day in our household. It’s not easy but we enjoy every moment and every minute of #fatherhood. #proudfathers #blackfathers #prouddads #gaydads  Many of the <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=kaleb%20and%20kordale&src=typd">tweets</a> and comments were positive, but some twitter users on “Black Twitter” (the realm of twitter where users, issues, hashtags, and topics are predominately Black) had mixed feelings about the issue. Comments like “Finally a black gay couple” expressed the notion that it is fine time for the visibility of African-American gay couples and the end of the “down low” mentality. The couple expressed their feelings when The Huffington Post reached out to them. They stated that they “do what is necessary for [their children] to succeed in this ever-changing world” and that although they are discriminated against because of what they do “behind closed doors”, it is still no one’s business. The issue raises many questions about the invisibility and/or visibility of Black gay men, especially those raising children. Which is more taboo about Kaleb and Kordale, their homos3xuality, their skin color, or their family? Social media, especially Twitter and Instagram, has become a space for open expression whether political, s3xual, cultural or gender-based. People like Kaleb and Kordale are no different from any other Instagram users; their goal, like yours, is to show friends and family the joyful and interesting moments that take place in their lives—and occasionally post a flattering selfie or two.

1) The First Love. Also commonly known as “The High School Sweetheart.” This boy is the Kevin to your Winnie. The Cory to your Topanga. The Dawson to your Joey. Sweet, innocent, idealistic…this is the stuff coming-of-age movies are made of. The First Love is probably the first boy you’ll ever kiss. (Or at least the first one you’ll kiss and feel the earth move.) He probably plays a sport and wears a letterman jacket. Those days, men seat with friends to discuss their wives and their chastity and boast of seeing the first blood of the marriage, I even heard that there is cultures in the (then) Nigeria where the families of the woman will spread a white clothe to confirm their daughter’s v1rginity and wait with trepidation to hear good news from the man after the first s3x. Unfortunately those are over, Let me blame (us) the men first for our uncontrollable lust, foolishness has become so rampant in our society, some of us cannot take away our eyes from the backside of a woman where they discharge number two, we look at the bosom, we look at the hips and sometimes driving we forget that the traffic light has turned green and we keep looking.  There are even men who though married will still hunt for young girls who are young enough to be their daughters and will go into unprintable foolishness because the control of such men is in their zip and not on their brains. I have been too worried for ladies who after messing up their youthful age will become desperate to marry at 30 and also, concerned for innocent men who end up in the hands of professional prostitutes who just changed their address, so many have damaged their wombs with several abortions, some have lived so carelessly in the Universities or even out there and they are now willing to settle in the arms of a ready to marry careless man. This is however, not to say that some ladies are not married (Not Because) they messed up but because they are not at the right Location to meet their spouse, I imagine a woman who is supposed to be in Nigeria to met her husband, sitting in UK or the one who is meant to be in Asaba, to meet the right man and she is in Abuja waiting to hook up a senator until her time is past marriage. Now for women, ahhh! how cheap they have suddenly become that you can have two girls for five naira. (two for five naira) imagine the drive in women these days is no longer about reputation, it is Food, Money and S3x, I have never found a woman who is discipline with food, they eat like chickens and are ready for any other thing you throw at them after the food. The Mr. Biggs of this world, the Tantalizers of these worlds, the Chicken republic of this world and all such names are business set as answer to tickle a woman into immoral “yesmanship” the moment you satisfy her by flaunting some vanities, she is willing to go all the way. They are easily lured with all these even if you rented a car for this exercise, When a woman ask what do you do for a living, she is only trying to find out psychologically if she will be secured, and that is after you have flaunted the pomp and pageantry of papal Rome in the name of avarice, she does not care what happens after the marriage, she is too eager to get in for the excitement of temporal gain. That is why so many are in deep poo after wedding So we have “Meat Pie girls, Suya girls, Chicken and Chips girls name it, they fall for anything in the name of temporal comfort, A friend once told me that this fear of getting a wrong girl made him to pretend to be poor although he worked as a boss in a Telecoms company and is comfortable, he rented an apartment in a project and search for a wife until he luckily met a True Christian, he did not take her to be one, so they continued for years in the project, my friend had completed his house and finished it but he kept that away from the woman, after the marriage, the lady hoping to go to his house in the project, they just drove straight in a ready car, thought to be borrowed into his new apartment, the Lady was shocked that she wept like a baby on discovering the wealth kept away from her. It is a great wickedness to mess up oneself with men who are not willing to marry you and afterwards deceiving a man who do not know you wired lifestyle. Some these ladies have been dis-flowered many times that you do not need to worry about seeing any blood when you marry them, some will even lie, that they lost their virginity when they played football with some guys, they say things like “I just saw that I was dripping blood and I had to leave the playing ground” Today, it was funny when I heard how ladies can pretend to be tight by using “alum” solution to clean their private body to deceive undiscerning men I pity the men who never met their wives as a virg1n, The thing she did before you met her, she can do it again, and for men who are beating their chest that they met their wives as v1rgin, your case is worse if you do not satisfy her s3xually, she will seek solution outside your home. Have you heard of s3x in the office? Have you heard of s3x before job? It was my mother that found out. Remember I was her only child and she had me in her old age. She was so happy about my pregnancy. She was just pampering me. She had five children then. My boyfriend was even the last born and the other siblings were yet to give her a grandchild. She was eager to have me and the baby. How do you cope as a single mother? I cope very well. I even see my daughter as my younger sister. We are friends. There is always a stigma attached to single mothers in Nigeria, don’t you mind? If you are not hardworking, that is when you allow such things to bother you. I am living my life. I am not ready to depend on any Nigerian man or what he thinks about me being a single mother. If you are a single mother, does that mean that you are a bad person? In fact, it proves that you are tested and okay. Do you know what will happen to that one that has not given birth before that you married? Having a child means that you are certified okay. How close where you to Bisi Komolafe who died recently? She was a younger colleague. She was a nice girl. It is a pity that she passed on. If her burial had been her wedding, she wouldn’t have had that kind of turn out. You wouldn’t have seen my colleagues that went there. But look at how all of them stormed the burial ceremony and were crying. If that number of people had cared and visited her when she was in the hospital, we probably wouldn’t have lost her. People should appreciate others when they are alive. You don’t have to pretend you care after the person has died. It is pretence. Her death was so pathetic. She was just 27. A star just faded. A lot of people have been there for donkey years and nobody recognised them. This lady just came and became a star. She didn’t die in vain. She has a legacy. People will always remember her. A company endorsed you as ambassador for one of its products. Oh yes. I am the new face of Dasela tomatoes. The title came with a car. It is not only about being their ambassador, but I also need to project the image of the company.
