Following the confusion over tinted windows on motor vehicles that has seen many Kenyans arrested arbitrarily, the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has offered to help Kenyans for free
Through its Chairman Eric Mutua, LSK has released a hotline where Kenyans can access free legal services if arrested over tint.
“If you get arrested because of tinted window on your vehicle, call…3874646 and the LSK will send you a lawyer for free (pro-bono)” said Mutua.
This comes after Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo clarified that the ban on tinted windows affects all vehicles contrary to earlier reports which indicated that the ban only affected Public Service Vehicles (PSVs).
Spread the word if you can.
